Residual Solvents are of three types:
1. Class 1 (They are strictly prohibited for use).
2. Class 2 ( They are used by taking into consideration the Health Risk Factor.
3. Class 3 (They are used frequently because their ill effects are not long lasting and health benefits are more when used in pharmaceutical formulations).
